Exciting Changes to Koala Tax – New Office, New Brand

As we approach the end of the year, I wanted to share some exciting changes coming our way in the new year.

Firstly, we’re working on fitting out a brand new office at Shop 1, 9 Channon St. We’ll continue to operate from our current office until we close for Christmas on December 20th, and start the new year at the new space. Don’t worry, we’re still in the same building and parking remains the same; just the entrance is changing.

Now, the big one—we’re saying goodbye to our ‘Koala’ branding and hello to a fresh, modern brand identity: Trekk Advisory.

Our founding partner, Jenny Zerner, along with Lesley and Julie, worked hard to establish a professional firm that you all know and trust. Beyond simply offering services, they built relationships—strong, authentic connections—rooted in integrity and trust. As we start on this new direction, we assure you we’re holding those core values even tighter.

It’s those core values that light our way and are reflected in our new identity—Trekk Advisory. While we’re embracing the change, we’re no less committed to being your expert accountants, trusted business advisors, the people you turn to for sound advice, and honest perspectives.

We’ve shared our ideas, strategies, and the reasoning behind the transformation with Jenny, Lesley and Julie. They believe, as we do, that the time is ripe for this change and they wholeheartedly support us.

There’s a distinction to be made about ‘being’ in business. It’s not a short trip, it’s a journey, a trek (one that’s far longer than most think!). If you’ve been in business awhile, you’ll instantly recognise that a journey taken together with a team of trusted advisors can lead to more successful outcomes. Our new brand was built on this concept.

Our team of Gympie locals remains unchanged, still devoted to taking care of all your business needs with the warm, personal touch you’re accustomed to. However, in tune with the re-brand, our email addresses will change. Don’t worry if you use the old ones, we’ve got auto-forwards in place:
